This document governs the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) of PactUS (“PactUS” or “we” or “us”) for its website, (“Website”).  Any capitalized terms not defined herein will have the same meaning as where they are defined elsewhere on this Website.

What Information is collected?

Personally identifiable information (“PII”): Personally identifiable information is information that identifies you or could reasonably be used to identify you personally (such as your real name, address, phone number, e-mail address and Users’ Internet Protocol (“IP”) address). If you are required to register, we may ask you to provide us with certain PII at time of registration. Providing us with information about yourself is voluntary, and you can always choose not to provide certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of or participate in many of the Website's features.

Non-personally identifiable information (“NPII”): When your computer contacts our web servers (for example, when you visit this Website, view an HTML e-mail, or download an interactive desktop from the website), our web servers automatically collect website usage information and your IP address which is automatically logged by our web server. IP addresses are used to observe users’ interest in this website (e.g. number of visits). Website usage information is information that describes how our visitors use and navigate our Website. It can include the number and frequency of visitors to each web page and the length of their stays, browser type, referrer data that identifies the web page visited prior and subsequent to visiting our website, and IP addresses (see below for more information on IP addresses). Use of cookies

Like most websites, this website sometimes makes use of browser "cookies". Cookies are pieces of information that a website either transfers to your computer's hard drive or stores temporarily in your computer's memory for record-keeping purposes. It is saved to your computer and used to track user navigation around a website.  PactUS uses Google Analytics which provides general information on traffic data without identifying users, so cookies are not used for the purposes of analyzing data.

Types of cookies used:

PactUS's use of cookies is restricted to strictly necessary cookies, cookies used for performance and cookies used for functionality. Pact does not use cookies for advertising.  Whereby PactUS uses a third party to deal with advertisement to our Website, the advertiser may use cookies to track the number of users responding to the campaign. PactUS does not have access to or control over cookies placed by third parties.

Some web browsers have settings that enable you to request that our Website does not track your movement within our Website (e.g., internet transmission issues, web browser/web server incompatibilities, etc.), we may not always be able to detect and honor this setting.  However, this does not change our compliance in any other way with our Privacy Policy.

Protecting Your Child’s Privacy:

PactUS follows the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).  Even though our Website is not designed for use by anyone under the age of 18 (“child”), PactUS realizes that a child may attempt to access our Website.  PactUS does not knowingly collect PII from a child.  If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using our Website, please contact us.  PactUS may ask for proof of identification before removing any information to prevent malicious removal of account information.  If PactUS discovers that a child is accessing its Website, PactUS will delete the information as soon as it’s discovered and will not use the information for any purpose or disclose it to third parties.  You acknowledge that PactUS does not verify the age of our users and does not have any liability to do so.  If you are a child, please seek the permission of a parent or guardian before accessing this Website. 

PactUS Email Policy:

PactUS complies with the federal CAN-SPAM Act.  You can always opt out of receipt of further email correspondence from PactUS or its affiliates. 

PactUS Security Policy:

PactUS has taken steps to build this Website using sophisticated encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of your PII.   We will encrypt your PII before it travels over the Internet using industry standards as establishing for conducting secure online transactions.  We also use industry standard technologies such as secure routers and fire walls to make sure that your PII is safe.  Unfortunately, we cannot fully guarantee secure data transmission over the Internet because of its nature.  Although we have security measures in place which are consistent with industry standard to protect against the loss or misuse of your PII, we cannot fully guarantee against such loss or misuse.  We strongly urge you to protect any password you may have for our Website and not share it with anyone.  You should always log out of our Website when you are done using it, especially if you are sharing a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place.

Except as provided below, PactUS will not disclose details of your PII to third parties or use the information you provide in any other way without your prior consent except in the functionality of the website and your use of it. Corporate change.  PactUS reserves the right to disclose, share and/or otherwise transfer user information, including without limitation PII, in connection with a corporate merger, acquisition, consolidation, the sale of substantially all of its assets, or other fundamental corporate change, whatever form it may take.

Transfer of Site.  Without in any way limiting the rights PactUS has reserved above in the event of a "Corporate Change", PactUS shall be entitled to transfer information it collects, including without limitation PII, to any third party that assumes, acquires or is otherwise authorized to take control over this website, provided such third party has agreed to use your PII in accordance with protections that in all material respects are the same as or more protective than those set out in this Privacy Policy.

Aggregate information.  PactUS may disclose non-identifying, aggregated user statistics to third parties for a variety of purposes, including describing PactUS's services to prospective partners and other third parties.


Please be aware that when you are navigating our website or viewing an e-mail or other content provided by PactUS, you may have the opportunity to click on links that take you outside PactUS's service to other websites or online content that are beyond PactUS's control.
